Antique Furniture Restoration
Restoring antique furniture allows you and future generations to enjoy the design, construction, and patina of an old but well loved antique. Your furniture can be made structurally sound and beautiful again. Joinery can be strengthened with gluing, veneers can be repaired and replaced if necessary. Water rings, dents, and scratches can often be repaired without removing the original finish.
There are times when a finish needs to be removed to properly restore it to its original appearance, and there are times when only the top needs finish removal. We prefer the “less is more” approach to restoring an antique. Expert color matching, artist brush touch-up, French polishing, hand rubbing, and waxing will bring your special piece back to life.
